Teaching philosophy

DigiLanguages views education as a continuous dialogue with past, present, and future knowledge. This grand “dialogue” with authors is what helps people understand the world in a larger sense and ultimately, hopefully, helps shape the world differently. Equipped with not only active knowledge, but also linguistic skills to have a voice in a global dialogue, learners will be able to achieve personal success and be leaders in our changing world. Our role is to help facilitate and ensure that all learners participate is this dialogue. Teaching is not actually about instilling “knowledge” into learners, but rather is a complex process of advancing learns’ ability to become active and in control of the learning process. “You inspire us!” when I hear my students saying this, I know that I have reached one of my very important goals” says Dr. Aloush.
